Admission to BSc (Hons) Nursing
Aug 4 : The College of Nursing under the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital & Safdarjung Hospital, Government of India, New Delhi has invited applications from unmarried female students for admission to BSc (Hons) Nursing Course commencing from October 2008. This course is affiliated to Gurugobind Sing Indraprastha University, New Delhi.
Those who have passed Plus Two / equivalent examination with minimum 50 percent marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate of four subjects viz English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and has passed in each subject separately are eligible to apply. Age should be completed 17 years and not exceed 21 as on 1st August 2008.
There are 100 seats in the Safdarjung Hospital and 50 seats in Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Hospital. Prospectus and prescribed applications form can be obtained from the Principal, College of Nursing, Dr.R.M.L Hospital / Safderjung Hospital New Delhi by sending a request along with attested copies of 12th class mark sheet & 10th class certificate for age proof, DD for Rs. 200/- infavour of PAQ, Dr. RML Hospital, New Delhi and a self addressed envelope size 30 x 24 cm with a postal stamps of Rs. 50/- duly affixed so as to reach on or before 20th August 2008. Sale of admission forms will starts from 7th August 2008.
Admission details are available on the website www.ipu.ac.in or http://www.mohfw.nic.in. Application form duly filled in should be submitted directly to Gurugobind Singh Indraprasatha university, New Delhi.
Last date of receipt of application is 30th August 2008.
Common Entrance Test will be conducted on 20th September 2008.
